The coolest critter we saw in action on the honeymoon was a sloth. We saw this sloth in Cahuita National Park, C.R., during a day of hiking. I was awestruck to see such a creature in it's natural habitat. It was amazing.
We were fortunate enough to see another sloth and a baby sloth happily eating in a tree on the Piscina Natural property a day later. We didn't catch any video or pics of the second sighting because it occured during the pouring rain.
Below is video of the sloth slowly moving up a tree. Unfortunately, the video is posted in a horizontal position, when in fact the square form in which it appears should be turned in the vertical position - in a clockwise direction. For those of you with laptops, turn your screens so they are on their side/sideways. For those of you who don't have laptops, move your head to your left shoulder to get the effect.

That was awesome! But, much like your video of the waves crashing on the beach, my favorite part was the human interruption. Toddie rocks.
I am reminded of myself for some reason. Maybe it's just the name. Sloth
