Rebecca added this cool feature to the side of her blog, entitled "On My Nightstand." I'm a bit of a follower, I have to admit, but I couldn't figure out how to add it here. Until I do, I'll keep y'all updated on my pleasure reading via posts.
Last week Rebecca was reading Twilight. She shared her love of the book (the second person in my life to rave about it) and I borrowed it from Brooke (the first). For those of you who haven't read it, it's an amazingly intense and passionate love story. It's so engrossing that I read it in two days. Brooke read it over 3 days and Rebecca read it equally as fast. I would compare the "engrossing-ness" to the Harry Potter series, which I devoured in super short periods of time.
Of course, the book left me wanting an Edward of my own (no offense, Toddie). I'm in a daydreaming mood, I can't really focus and I've been rather unproductive since finishing the book. But who doesn't love a piece of fiction so good that you can't put it down? One that envelopes you and almost overwhelms you? Seriously, so awesome.
The other cool thing? It's exciting to actually have time to read for pleasure (Schmiddy & Jenn, you know what I'm talking about).

I know what you mean about wanting you own Edward - It took me a while to get over that. If you want I will bring the second one (New Moon) to you on Saturday.
The 2nd isn't as good as Twilight, probably my least fav in the series.
I know exactly what you're talking about. I have finished 2 books in about 5 days. Sad? Yes, but I'm insanely bored! :)
Okay, so I must have a dirty mind, but I first read the post as "In my nightstand" and was thinking, "whoa, what is Anna gonna share?" LOL! As for having the time to read again, it is indeed a good thing!
I'm putting down Sea of Poppies to begin New Moon, which is book #2 in the Edward series. I can't possibly read another book while I have the rest of the series in my possession. I guess I should update my "on my nightstand" gadget.
Spelling mistake! Acckk! I meant to write envelops, not envelopes.
I've taken three of these books from students this week.
