After 4 years in our apartment, Todd and I finally decorated the place for Christmas. We have never even hung so much as a bulb in the past. We certainly made up for it: we had an adorable mini tree in the living room (pictured below) and one of those cool light changing/glowing trees in the entryway; Department 56 snow village pieces (courtesy of Todd's mom) in the living room and the entryway; Christmas lights all around the living room and in the kitchen; stalkings; center pieces of which Martha Stewart would be proud on both dining tables; holiday hand towels in the bathroom and silver blubs hanging from the shower curtain!
Needless to say, all the decorations helped us get into the Christmas spirit, which was nice considering all the "roadblocks" we encountered over the holiday season.
Below is our adorable mini tree, with the Anna and Todd snowman ornament in front. The tree had a large assortment of ornaments including some that I drew as a kid, some given to us by Stella's cousins Hailey & Gaucho, and a number of Star Wars characters. The Darth Vadar is the best, but he's hard to see in this picture.

It was fabulous!! I loved the little Christmas tree and the lights in the living room. I bought 3 boxes so we can do the same thing next year. Poor Joe, he just rolled his eyes at me :)
I wish I could've seen your place in person! Maybe next year.
I love how you work Darth Vader into every occasion, including Christmas. Did I tell you that we talked about Darth as a tragic hero in class last week? I thought of you.
Oh Darth, I will always be in love with you. The power, the confidence, the plastic mask - they're all such a turn on.
Todd just informed me that it's actually Darth "Vader;" I always thought it was Darth "Vadar." Sorry Darth, I guess I don't love you enough to know how to properly spell your name.
