I haven't had time to do as many posts as I would like, but it's our honey moon...so it's forgivable. I thought I'd pick up with an outline of where we have been, where we are, and where we're going - and then I will add more posts later [probably when we get home].

-Thursday, Oct. 2 - Bus to Puerto Viejo [still on Caribbean]. Rented bikes - biked from one end of Puerto Viejo to the other. Swimming at Punta Uva.
Overnight at Casa Verde.
-Friday, Oct. 3 - Bus to Sixaola, on the Costa Rican border with Panama. Border crossing: literally walking across a rickity bridge. Taxi from Changuinola, Panama to Almirante, Panama. Water taxi from Almirante to Isla Colon - Colon Island, one of the many Islands in Bocas del Toro. The city/town we landed in on Isla Colon was Bocas Town.
Overnight at Hospidaje Maritza
-Saturday, Oct. 4 - Bocas snorkeling tour - going to dolphin bay, Cayo Crawl, Red Frog beach, and Hospital point. My first REAL snorkeling expedition. Snorkeling [at Cayo Crawl] was amazing, but also scary. More to come in a future post devoted to snorkeling.
Overnight at Hospidaje Maritza
-Sunday, Oct. 5 - Snorkeling tour of Cayo Zapatillas - 2 islands that are part of Bastimentos National Park - the MOST BEAUTIFUL islands I have ever seen.
Overnight at Hospidaje Maritza
-Monday, Oct. 6 - We were picked up early by Monique, owner of Tesoro Escondido - a hotel and some private cabanas. Monique drove us the 4 miles [which took half an hour] to the hotel.
We stayed in the Dolphin Cabana at Tesoro from Monday through Friday, Oct. 10. We swam at the beach that you could see from our cabana deck, the other beach - Bluff Beach, drank a lot of rum and cooked all our meals [ok, Todd did the cooking].
We were confronted with large amounts of lizards, gigantic grasshopers/locusts and even a few cockroaches. As well as Moniques awesome dog, Chi Chi. More posts on all this to come.
-Today - Friday, Oct. 10 - reverse border crossing. The exact reverse of what we did on Friday, Oct. 3. We are now back in Puerto Viejo. The internet cafe I'm typing in is air conditioned so I almost don't want to leave...but I think I've been here for a ridiculous amount of time.
Tomorrow? We think we're going hiking in another national park.
After that? We haven't decided yet. We may stay in the Caribbean...we may head to Fortuna, CR. We just don't know.
I'll keep you "posted."

Wow. I can't wait to see pictures! I hear ya on the snorkeling. I've always been a bit freaked out by it, too. I don't know why. I like SCUBA diving but not snorkeling. I look forward to your posts on the topic.
When can Toddie take me to Costa Rica? Better yet, when can Toddie take all six of us to Costa Rica?!
Yeah...I seriously have a love/hate relationship with snorkeling. It's so cool - but still alarming. I've had this weird issue where I don't like swimming over the reef...which sounds wacky. I'll explain later!
