Mountain biking down a volcano...

So...this is me watching our guides unload our mountain bikes. Please pay special attention to the road! Our taxi-bus is stopped at this point on the volcano (NOT at the top) because it couldn´t make it up the road past that point (the road was uneven, full of potholes and odd shaped rocks). So, below is an awesome picture of me staring at the road and the taxi (that left soon after the picture was taken...I wanted to run after it...) and contemplating my crazy downhill mountain bike descent.
I was actually pissed when this picture was taken...I was so angry that Todd would even think I´d want to do something so dangerous. But of course...if you look at the next picture...
I actually have a smile on my face and ended up enjoying myself tremendously. It was so awesome! Scary and awesome and exhilerating all at the same time. Later in our bike ride...we went through a coffee plantation. We have some sweet pictures from that which I will post at a later time.
All in all, it was such a cool experience. And I apologized to Todd for being verbally abusive (due to fear) before we started the adventure.

Looks scary! Did you fall off your bike? I love that you were verbally abusive to Todd.

I felt bad about the verbal abuse...I was like "you're dumb for wanting to do this." But, it all worked out.
I did not fall off my bike at all, miraculously. I held on! But, I had some crazy bruising on my palms from holding onto the hand brakes for dear life!
