Cayo Zapatilla

It's raining, sleeting or snowing right now (I can't quite tell) and the wind chill is below zero. Considering the weather, I thought I'd post some pictures from my most favorite stop on our honeymoon: Cayo Zapatilla. Cayo(s) Zapatilla are two Panama National Park islands very near to Bocas del Toro. The islands are uninhabited and spectacular. Perfectly clear green-blue caribbean water, white sand, and endless cocnut trees. Todd and I visited both islands during our stay in Bocas Town. It was an amazing day...we spent it snorkeling, swimming and exploring. We also had to step in the shade to get out of the heat of the sun. Yeah, to get OUT of the heat of the sun.

One of the islands from the boat. The day started out with cloud cover, but it quickly cleared up.

Snack time: Todd and I took a break from snorkeling to refuel. If you look close you can see the lines from my snorkel mask on my forehead. The scenary behind me in these pics? AMAZING.

Below you can see my shoulders turning red from sunburn.

Check out the blue-green water...

Here's the boat we chartered for the day...

And finally, Todd & I taking a break in the shade.

Oh my goodness, Anna...that's beyond gorgeous. And so are you, love! I'm loving that bikini. You should get a wall-size print of that scenery and hang it up in your house so you can always be in Cayo Zapatilla, even when it's 2 degrees outside.

Also, I have to give a shout-out from Matt for the shots of the dry bag. Woot!

Apparently Todd did too...there wasn't a picture of Zapatilla that did not contain me and my bum.
