New Job Perks

I am extremely grateful for my new job...and my first day went really well. I can tell that I'm going to enjoy the work! One of the many perks of my new job (a loosely related perk) was the excuse to purchase a new wardrobe. I swear, I haven't purchased so much as a pair of pants in the past couple years. My adult job gave me a great excuse to completely upgrade my wardrobe. The purchasing spree (spanning 3 days) didn't go so well at first...my body is so happily set between two different sizes that finding the right clothes was difficult (more about that later). The one thing I thoroughly enjoyed was the shoe shopping. Below are my spoils!

Ah yes, the shoes. Seems I had this conversation with Rachel a few months back. And yes, today I wore "those boots" that she helped me buy.

And I love your shoes, Anna! I can't wait to see them with their coordinating new outfits!

I'm wearing nothing but dressy tennis shoes these days, so I'm especially jealous.
