Critters revisited: the leaf cutter ants

These crazy leaf cutter ants are at work all over the Caribbean coast. They cannot be halted or dissuade; and they bite if you step on them. They are a marvel to watch as they are fixated on what they do. The cut those leaves and they carry them far. What do they do with the leaves inside their hills? And seriously, what do they do when it rains?

This is Todd's MTV-like clip of the leaf cutter ants.

There was just something on Animal Planet tonight about these critters. Apparently, they can't actually eat the leaves. I won't tell you what they have to do.
